Hoeksveer does sail today!
In Hook of Holland, the boat departs from the Berghaven. The boat stops on Maasvlakte II at FutureLand, the information center of the port company. Here you can learn everything there is to know about the port of Rotterdam.
The bicycle and foot ferry will take you through the busiest port of Europe. Enjoy the view of imposing ships from every corner of the world. Sailing with this ferry is like a “mini cruise” through a never sleeping harbour. And with any luck, you might be able to spot seals during the crossing.
The crossing will take 50 minutes, depending on wind and tidal currents.
This ferry connection is focussed on transporting recreational individuals, such as hikers and bicyclists using the national and regional bike/walking routes. And of course visitors of FutureLand or seaside resort Hook of Holland. The Hoeksveer is the most enjoyable way to travel to FutureLand! FutureLand is closed on Mondays.
The ferry is not fit for cars or motorcycles. This ferry is purely a link in the (inter)national long distance bike lanes and bike/walking routes.
The ferry only sails in the summer seasons from April until October. Both ferry stops provide catering facilities.
On board debit cards are accepted.
The ferry is not suitable for mopeds and scooters.
Come sail with us, welcome on board.
